अलंकार) शोभा येत नाही &lt;span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;किंवा चंद्राप्रमाणे तेजस्वी हाराने देखील नाही. स्नान केल्याने, सुगंधी द्रव्याने मालिश केल्याने, फुलांमुळे किंवा केस सुशोभीत केल्याने सुद्धा नाही.पण मला गुंजेसारख्या निकृष्ट प्रतीच्या पदार्थाबरोबर तोलले जाते याचे मात्र अतिशय दुःख होते.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;ही सुवर्णान्योक्ती आहे . सोन्याला इतर कोणत्याही त्रासाचे दुःख वाटत नाही पण नैतादृशा:।&lt;br /&gt;केचिद्वृष्टिभिरार्द्रयन्ति धरणीं गर्जन्ति केचिद्वृथा&lt;br /&gt;यं यं पश्यसि तस्य तस्य पुरतो मा ब्रूहि दीनं वच:॥&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- हे चातक पक्ष्या, सावध होऊन एक क्षणभर ऐक. आकाशात खूप सारे ढग आहेत ,पण सर्वच एकसारखे नाहीत. त्यापैकी काहीच ढग पृथ्वीवर पावसाचा वर्षाव करणारे आहेत तर काही विनाकारण गर्जना करणारे पण पाऊस न पाडणारे आहेत. म्हणून जो जो ढग दिसेल त्याच्याकडे पाण्याची याचना करत फिरू नकोस.&lt;br /&gt;हे अन्योक्ती प्रकारातले सुभाषित आहे. या प्रकारात मानव सोडून इतर कोणालातरी (जसे चातक, मोर ,बगळा इत्यादी) &lt;span&gt;व्यवहारातील &lt;/span&gt;उपदेश असतो पण तो माणसालाही प्रीतिर्वामदक्षिणयोः समा ||&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- ज्याप्रमाणे ओंजळीतील फुले डाव्या अणि उजव्या दोन्ही हातांना सुगंधीत करतात, म्हणजेच त्यांचे डाव्या अणि उजव्या हातावर सारखेच प्रेम असते त्याप्रमाणेच सज्जन (चांगले) लोक दुष्ट आणि सज्जन अशा दोन्ही प्रकारच्या माणसांवर सारखेच प्रेम करतात.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;येथे "सुमनसां" या शब्दावर श्लेष आहे ."&lt;span&gt;सुमनसां&lt;/span&gt;" = फुलांचे आणि "&lt;span&gt;सुमनसां&lt;/span&gt;" = चांगले मन असणारे (सज्जन लोक). यामुळे दुसऱ्या ओळीचे दोन अर्थ होतात. तसेच "वाम"(डावा) आणि "दक्षिण" (उजवा) हाताचे रूपक दुष्ट आणि सज्जन लोक यांच्यासाठी वापरले correct" id="30"&gt;मोठ्याने&lt;/span&gt; आक्रोश &lt;span class="transl_class" title="Click to correct" id="3"&gt;करू&lt;/span&gt; लागले.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;ह्या श्लोकाचा वरीलप्रमाणे  अर्थ लावला तर तो विसंगत वाटतो कारण कृष्ण कायम &lt;span class="transl_class" title="Click to correct" id="32"&gt;पांडवांच्या&lt;/span&gt; बाजूने होता.असे असताना तो युद्धात पडल्यावर त्यांना आनंद कसा होईल? पण ह्या श्लोकाचा अर्थ खालीलप्रमाणे लावला तर बरोबर लागतो.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;केशव = के + शव = पाण्यात पडलेले प्रेत&lt;br /&gt;पांडव = पंडू (पांढऱ्या) रंगाचे = बगळे&lt;br /&gt;कौरव = "कौ" असा रव ( आवाज) करणारे = कावळे&lt;br /&gt;म्हणजेच पाण्यात पडलेले प्रेत पाहून बगळ्यांना खूप आनंद झाला (कारण त्यांना ते खाता येईल) आणि कावळे मात्र दु:खाने ओरडू लागले,"अरेरे, प्रेत पाण्यात पडले,प्रेत पाण्यात पडले".(कारण /&gt;हा काव्यशास्त्रविनोदाचा एक प्रकार आहे. संस्कृतमध्ये मे म्हणजे माझे, तसेच बोकड मे मे असा आवाज करतो याचा उपयोग करून येथे "मे" वर श्लेष (pun) केला आहे.सतत "माझे माझे" करणाऱ्या माणसाला बोकडाची उपमा अपेक्षित असते. कवीच्या शिघ्रकवीत्वाचा यात पुरेपूर कस लागतो.वरील श्लोकात ठ ठं ठ ठंठं ठ ठ ठं  ठ ठं ठ: ही ओळ समस्यापूर्तीसाठी दिलेली आहे. कवी कालीदास अशा समस्यापूर्ती करण्यामधे अतिशय पारंगत होता.&lt;div
